Frequently Asked Questions
Here are our answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.
How much does it cost to have an event at Spitfire Acres?
Price is determined by type of event, day of the week, number of guests, and length of event.
Do you provide food?
We will provide a list of our preferred caterers, and you can contact them directly. You may provide your own caterer for an additional Outside Catering Fee.
Can we bring our own food?
No, you must use a licensed caterer.
How many people can you accommodate?
150 maximum.
What if we only have 25-30 people?
No problem; we have no minimum.
Can we use the pool?
Yes, however:
- We do not provide a lifeguard, and you must sign a waiver.
- You must bring your own towels.
What hours are available for an event?
8 a.m. to 12 midnight, 7 days a week.
Can we stop by for a tour?
Yes. It is best to call ahead, if possible, to make an appointment. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend appointments can be arranged also.
Do you have audio/video capabilities?
Yes. We have Wi-Fi throughout the property, cable TV, and four “individual sound zones” available:
- The deck: Radio, laptop connections, outdoor speakers are not permitted
- The banquet room: DVD, flat screen TV, laptop connections, flash drive capabilities
- The bridal suite: DVD, flat screen TV
- Great room: Radio system with wonderful acoustics to the central part of the facility
Can we augment your sound system?
Yes and no. DJs must provide their own speaker system and comply with our noise restrictions. You may bring your Ipod loaded with music and connect to the existing available systems. You may bring a flash drive of photographs and connect to our flat screens, but PowerPoint and other computer-generated program presentations must be powered through a laptop computer device.
Are we allowed to fish in the pond?
No. Catch and release only may be allowed with permission from management.
